  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    According to , Shaw was joined by fellow defenders Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro in United's training session on Friday, with the latter two being recently sidelined with respective calf and foot injuries. That suggests all three are closing on a first-team return, which would be Shaw's first minutes since December.

    Shaw has made just three appearances for United this season, with knee and muscle problems severely restricting his time on the pitch. The 29-year-old only played 15 times in 2023-24 for the Red Devils, highlighting how injuries have blighted his time at Old Trafford. Unfortunately, United simply cannot rely on the left-back.
