WHAT HAPPENED?
Liverpool have targeted Kerkez this summer after an impressive season in the Premier League with Bournemouth. A transfer certainly appears on the card, particularly as the Cherries have already announced the signing of French left-back Adrien Truffert who looks set to replace Kerkez.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Liverpool have reportedly been struggling to agree a fee with Bournemouth, who are holding out for £45 million ($61m), but an agreement does not appear too far away now. Kerkez's father has confirmed his son is only interested in moving to Anfield and that the deal is almost closed.

WHAT KERKEZ'S DAD SAID
Sebastijan Kerkez told : “It's only Liverpool for us and we're not going anywhere else and we won't talk to other clubs. Everything is done between us [personal terms] we just need to sort out some details but it's basically a done deal."
